Volunteering for research projects is a meaningful way to contribute to knowledge that informs practice, policy, and outcomes in the child and youth care sector. Your lived experience and professional insight help ensure research is grounded, relevant, and impactful.
It also offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth, exposing you to emerging evidence and reflective practice. Participation is always voluntary.

OACYC CYC Research Support
The OACYC is committed to advancing Child and Youth Care CYC knowledge and practice by supporting research across the sector. We invite CYC researchers including professionals, students, and academic researchers to share their approved calls for research participants with our membership
To be considered, please submit your call for participants poster to office@oacyc.org
All submissions must have received approval from the researcher’s institutional Research Ethics Board REB and adhere to all applicable ethical protocols
Submission Requirements
- Researcher: Current member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care or another provincial CYC association in Canada
- Length: One page
- Format: PNG or JPEG
- No hyperlinks embedded into the image
Approved posters will be shared with the OACYC membership for a period of 30 days to support recruitment efforts and sector engagement. Please note that you may not be notified prior to your poster being posted so ensure you are checking this page for updates. Review of requests may take up to 30 days
