| Full Professional $95.00 + HST $12.35 = $107.35 | Full Professional members must produce a letter of reference and accompanying job description that highlights the role and responsibilities of a Child and Youth Care Practitioner, deemed acceptable to the Board of Directors, and hold one of the following: A diploma in a related discipline from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology with a minimum of two (2) years full time equivalent related practical experience; A degree in a related discipline from a recognized Canadian University with a minimum two (2) years full time equivalent related practical experience; or Have a minimum of 600 hours or one (1) year full-time of theory through education, seminars, specialized training, conferences, in-service training, workshops, with documentation to verify; and three (3) years full time equivalent related practical experience to be approved by the Association. | Proof of your education qualifications plus, a short letter from your employer(s) on the letterhead stating: the dates of your employment total hours worked age and type of clients and description of your role/position |
| Full Professional Member Pursuing Further Education $40.00 + HST $5.20 = $45.20 | Reserved for individuals who already meet the criteria of Full Professional Certified who have returned to school in a related Human Services Field – will be reviewed on a case by case basis | Members who meet the requirements of Full Professional, but are furthering their education, and are eligible for the same benefits and voting rights as Full Professional, but pay the Student Membership rate when able to produce current proof of student status acceptable to the OACYC. |

| Student $40.00 + HST $5.20 = $45.20 | Student membership is available to students who are registered in an accredited Child and Youth Care diploma or degree program. Student memberships are valid only while the member is enrolled in their program. Upon graduation, student members would apply to Full Professional Certified Membership. This level of Student Membership will not be entitled to vote at member meetings. | Photo or scan of your student card, or proof of student status that includes your: name, student ID number and name of your college/university |
| Organizational $200.00 + HST $26.00 = $226.00 or reciprocal | Organizational membership is available to programs and organizations that provide services for children, youth and families, and/or employs and supports persons who work within the Association’s scope of practice. | N/A |
Note: To meet the criteria for Full Professional Certified Membership, the diploma or degree must be from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology institution or a recognized Canadian University. Diplomas or degrees from Ontario private colleges or universities may be considered for Full Professional Membership, but not for Full Professional Certified. Out-of-province public colleges or universities will be considered on an individual basis. A combination of a diploma/degree and CYCCB certification could meet the criteria for Full Professional Certified Membership. We accept payment online via our members portal. Members may request to pay by cheque or e-transfer.
